Covid -19 is a wake up call for everyone. It has not only shaken the world but also given Hygiene and sterilization a whole new dimension . Clinic Eximus, has always kept Sterilization and Hygiene as one of their top priorities since 2004. Since its Inception we have invested in World class sterilization equipment and facilities to ensure the safety of our Patients. Our Internationally approved sterilization protocol certified by ADA has enabled us to render services at our centre during the peak of Pandemic in April 2020. We are committed to keep you Safe !

Sterilization is killing of all microorganisms (various bacteria, virus etc which cannot be seen with naked eye) in all forms (spores also).

When you visit a dental surgeon there are so many instruments that are required to diagnose and treat your problem. Some of them are of disposable nature which means that they should not be reused once they are used for a patient but so many instruments are there which are not disposable.
So we need to be sure that infection does not spread from one patient to other or from the doctor to the patient and vice versa. These microorganisms act as the source of infection and must be completely killed to prevent cross infection. That is why sterilization is a must.

Infectious diseases such as tuberculosis (T.B), conjunctivitis, various bacterial and viral infections.
AIDS & HIV can also be transferred with the use of infected needles and bloodstained instruments.
HEPATITIS can also be transferred through infected needles and bloodstained instruments.

We follow internationally adopted sterilization protocol or to prevent our patients from cross-infection and harmful diseases like: HIV, AIDS, HEPATITIS, and TB.

Process Starts from sterilization room
Sterilization starts at our fully equipped sterilization room.

Disinfecting used instruments
After manual cleaning of used instruments the instruments are disinfected in solution for stipulated period of time.

Ultrasonic cleaning
Effective sterilization requires effective cleaning. After disinfecting instruments are washed ultrasonically using to high frequency, high-energy sound waves.

Drying and packing
After ultrasonic cleaning the instruments are dried and packed.
Packaging materials allow penetration of the sterilization agent and maintain sterility of the processed item after sterilization.

Final sterilization
Final stage sterilization is done in Autoclave.
An autoclave is a device used to sterilize equipment and supplies by subjecting them to high pressure saturated steam at 121 °C for around 15–20 minutes depending on the size of the load and the contents. This means that all bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores are inactivated.

Storage of sterilized instruments
To maintain the sterilization of instruments for longer period of time, are kept in UV chamber. UV Light Sterilizer is an ideal tool for avoiding contamination of instruments, once sterilized.
Dental UV Sterilizer is completely safe as ensures zero emission of UV lights to avoid any harmful effect on the operator. This means that all bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores are inactivated.
